2004-04-10 - 11:53 p.m.

i went to work at ihop- which had its usual up and downs.

-i got a twenty dollar tip off of one table- why i have no clue i kept checking on them to make sure they didn't want any more drinks or something like that and the guy who was there with his wife and kids said to me on one of my follow up trips, "do you want me to pay? is that why you keep coming over here?" and i was like no!!! no its really ok, you all can sit here as long as you want i was just checking... so he hands me the money (a 100 dollar bill) and i take it up to the register for them. i get the change and give it back to him, and i see them as they are leaving and he says "the tips there on the table, i just wanted to make sure you didn't think i was really upset" so i say thanks and look and i see a twenty, i grab it and run after and i say "are you kidding me?!?!?" and he says, no- its yours, keep it." and i say" are you serious???!" he says "yeah, have a good night"

and i am just stunned for like 10 minutes after that.

then there was this girl that i hadn't met working there but she had worked there off an on from 97 and was back after being gone for like 6 months. she doesn't get along with angelbuttsex at all. she nearly quit last night and in fact she did quit. but then she heard that angel was leaving (yes sad i know, she is getting a job at steak n shake.) so she decided to stay on. whats awful is that when she is suggesting drinks she says sodie pop. the worst of the worst!!!! and some times its just sodie. i wanted to scream when i heard that come out of her mouth. she also called EVERYONE honey or sweetie. even poor old men that probably just want to be left alone. she asked two cute bird like old women how it was hanging!!! they were like uhhh right.

then she kisses so much manager ass. i was walking into the kitchen and i see her brushing hair behind GERIANN's ear. geriann is the dreaded bitch manager. and she was singing badly "you are so beautiful" i wanted to kill her.

alright after work----

so i get back and i want to do something fun since i am in a good mood from getting mucho moola.

sunny is working on her model in the design studio and im just sitting around. sunny told me to let her know if i get bored and i could come over to the design studio then we could go do something. so after like 10-15 mins of having talked to her i go over there and im like- im bored! so we hang out at the design studio for a bit. and i say im hungry since i hadn't had anything to eat since lunch. and it was like 12:30 at this point. so we leave around maybe 12:45 ish and we are looking to go down to this place called the south city diner which is down where sunny and i had wanted to look for houses. so we get our friend jeff to go with us since he knows where the diner is. so we go down there. and we decide to look for houses. so we do we drive all up and down these streets and find several houses for rent and we get the numbers and such. but all this driving gets us all sorts of turned around and into all sorts of scary neighborhoods. it was fun though. so finally we find our way back to the diner around 2ish and we go in. have horrible service and we wait for our food for a good 30 minutes and finally it comes and it isn't that great. my fries were really fuckin cold- they were something we couldve gotten at the cafeteria. anywho while we were eating some guys and a girl sat down across from us. and we noticed that they kept looking over at sunny jeff and me. and we are just like what are they looking at??? and finally this one girl leans over to us and says "i have to apologize for my brother he has had wayyy toooo much to drink and he has a thing for red heads and he just thinks you are really cute. and im like oh hahaha. its fine its no big deal and we just laugh it on. then we finish our meal and this guy is still staring and talking about me and im just mortified. so finally our waitress comes back and gives us our check but we want to know what sort of desserts they have i heard they had good milkshakes so i wanted one of those and sunny wanted some pie- so we order that and it takes fucking forever to get that. but we had no where to be. so we sit and still this guy is looking and talking about me. so finally the girl leans over and says- why don't you all just join our table! so we do- because it seems like it would make for an interesting time and it did. the guy was very drunk and kept telling me i was adorable everyone else was very nice- his sister was really sweet she even offered to show us around st louis some time. and we were all talking about how bad the service was and it was really hilarious. sunny and jeff kept laughing at me just cringing about this guy who was looking me up and down all the time and they were just having a big ole time. and i was too- it was pretty damned funny. oh and even better- the guy was really short, had his tongue pierced and is hands were smaller than mine... we call him the midget from now on.

well that was my night i got in at like 4-

fun fun fun and more fun.
