well i've been working at ihop for what feels like the entire weekend.

yesterday felt like sunday, and thats just weird. i never have slow moving weekends. being a hostess is easy as pie. my fellow hosts are "cool" i suppose. i can assure you i wouldn't hang out with them on weekends, but they are rather tolerable people. which is good. sometime next week i have to start my training as a server. im nervous as hell about it especially since it has been sooooo busy this past weekend, and i dont' think that was unlike most weekends, but i felt better about serving today when a girl younger than me came in and she was a server. so i have a little more confidence in my competency for serving people up a nice hot serving of some grease slathered something or other. bah, what else- oh yes- friday night i got like less than 3 hours of sleep- long story short, i was soo damned tired saturday and i had nothing to eat until 4:30 that day and had been up since 6:30. then today i woke up late- at 9:00 when i was supposed to be at work at 8:30 so i got there an hour late basically- thankfully it wasn't a big deal- worthless alarm clock.

ummm anywho- im gonna go back to not doing any of the work im supposed to. i should probably work on studying the menu. bah.
