2004-02-05 - 1:12 p.m. well for right now i think i've got it. i think i know what i want to do with my life. i want to teach art history. i've decided that i absolutely love art and art history and i can't wait to teach it to high schoolers, and then maybe even college kids. my highschool art history teacher was so completely awesome and i would like to hold up that standard of being an awesome art history teacher. i want to make kids enthusiastic about art. or at least try. in class today i had of course already learned all about all the works we were shown but i was filled with this sense of super excitement and i couldn't wait to hear all about the places and pieces all over again. i don't know if radio has the ability to fill me with such a feeling of excitement. of course music can- but sadly radio has been raped by corporations and maybe this summer i can do something at WRVU- a last refuge of good radio- but i think now i have a focus for college. who knows tomorrow i might change my mind. but today im happy thinking about art history.
